About Us

For us, farming is more than just a way of life—it’s a passion project. It’s about caring for the land, raising animals with respect, and providing quality food for our community. Every day, we put our heart into what we do, ensuring that our farm reflects our values of sustainability, hard work, and ethical farming. We believe that good farming isn’t just about producing food—it’s about building a connection to the land, the animals, and the people we serve.

Who We Are

Raised on hard work and homegrown values.

Mike DeHaan was born and raised in Europe where he found his passion for livestock. He attended agricultural school for 4 years. Upon immigrating in 1985, he helped establish his family farm in southern Ontario. Over the last 30 years, he and his wife, Wilma, have spent much time understanding the basic principles of agriculture on their family hobby farm. Since then, they have made the move to Northern Ontario in 2018, where they began raising quality beef and lamb.

Every Year Progress Is Made

Growth is essential for a farm to sustain itself. Whether improving soil, expanding livestock, or adopting better practices, continuous progress ensures productivity and resilience. Without growth, a farm stagnates—but with it, it thrives, securing its future for generations to come.
